Roopa Desai, MSc. PT

Roopa Desai received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Bombay in 1988, and received her Master of Medical Science degree, with emphasis on Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Emory University in 1994. Roopa has practiced physical therapy in the Atlanta and surrounding area since 1990. She places strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques in her treatment planning. Her areas of expertise are geriatrics, arthritis and fibromyalgia care. Roopa loves to spend her spare time with her husband and two children.

Gira Shah, PTA

Gira Shah completed the PTA program from Gwinnett Technical Institute in 2004. She later served as an instructor for the PTA program from 2004-2007. Ms. Shah is trained as a physical therapist in India, and is currently pursuing her PT license in the state of Georgia. She is a certified Pilates instructor, and efficient in the use of ETPS (ElectroTherapeutic Point Stimulation) for pain management. She has a special interest in Women’s Health issues, and keeps herself current with the latest physical therapy programs related to women.

Beckie Smith - Finance Manager

Beckie Smith comes to us with a strong background in finance management with the medical industry. She works directly with the patients and insurance companies to assure all of your billing needs are attended to and met.
